Each 24-30” snake features an articulated, *highly* posable spine and pliable embossed vinyl “skin.” A departure from our normal form, the limbless snake requires no stand. Please note, the snake’s narrow body does not feature the typical loadable chamber. Each snake is completely unique and features any combination of individual beading, bells, and/or keys.

A fluid, transforming androgyne; the serpent is a symbolic cypher, expressing an effortless imhumanity that sparks fear, and devotion. In every time - and place - that humanity has dwelled, we find evidence of the snake and its long, slithering shadow.

Assigning a planetary ruler to the Snake spirit is especially challenging - and, as is true with *every* creature that we work with - the snake is an amalgam of many planetary influences. Agrippa, with obvious reasoning, places the chthonic, cold-blooded snake in the house of Saturn. Earlier, still - and repeatedly, ever since - we see a strong Solar connection to the snake spirit. We have dedicated these vessels to Mercury, however; in His charge as psychopomp, as terrestrial transgressor, and as possessor and teacher of occulted knowledge.
